Itinerary
- At 08:00 hrs we will pick you up at your hotel to begin the tour.
- First, we will visit the town of Ollantaytambo, which is a window to the Inca past and one of the few places where the Spanish conquerors lost an important battle. It is well known for its terraces and fortress, which are a perfect testimony to the extraordinary skill of the Incas in construction and planning.
- Then, we will walk through its beautiful cobblestone streets, surrounded by adobe houses, before heading to the fascinating archaeological complex of the town, which was a military, religious and agricultural center.
- There, we will climb the steep stone steps to admire the monoliths that make up the Temple of the Sun, learning a bit about Inca astronomy and the impressive architecture seen throughout the archaeological site.
- Finally, at 13:00 hrs we will take you back to the hotel.
