We purchased the complete package with train, bus to MP and Guide. Made it super easy. We were very please with the experience, except for the guide to MP. He was impossible to understand.

The trip to Machu Pichu is a very long ride & can be scary to navigate on your own. Luckily they have a package that gets you from Cusco to Machu Pichu with zero worries. They had a taxi pick me up from my hotel, then a bus ride to the train station in ollantaytambo. The train gets you to aguas calientes. Once you're there the tour guide ensures you get on the bus that goes up to Machu Pichu. Tour was solid & she even took pictures for us. :-) Would recommend the package if you don't want to travel with no worries.

Great clean trains with a wonderful performance. The train was spacious, the windows were large and the views were spectacular. Try and sit on the left side of the train on the way to Machu Pichu!!
