Itinerary
- At 07:45 hrs we will pick you up at your hotel to begin the tour.
- You will depart from your hotel in Cusco in the morning towards the archaeological group of Quillarumiyoc.
- Once there, you will enjoy an exhaustive guided tour of the most important sites, where you will learn about the Andean worldview.
- Then, approximately at 10:00 hrs, you will continue to the Tarawasi complex, which was built by order of the Inca Pachacutec, as a Tambo -or resting place- on the way to Chinchaysuyo.
- After that visit, you will walk for an average of 1 hour until you reach the community of Chonta. There, you will get to know the community and enjoy the fascinating landscape that surrounds it, with beautiful views of snow-capped mountains such as the Apu Salcantay and Humantay.
- From that point, you will start the hike of 1 hour to the Mirador del Condor. To appreciate the breathtaking view, we will stop for a picnic lunch.
- Once at the viewpoint, you will settle down to wait for the sighting of the majestic Andean condor. It will be an unforgettable spectacle.
- At the end, approximately at 15:00 hrs you will return to the town of Chonta and, from there, we will take you back to the hotel at 19:00 hrs approximately.
